Temporal Fusion Podcast

Posted in LISTEN TO THIS with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on July 8, 2009 by worldromper

Hello bass freaks! Hey I want to make sure everybody out there knows about the Temporal Fusion Podcast out of Denver featuring dubstep, drum and bass, hip hop and glitch music. Click through the link or subscribe in iTunes. You know the drill.

The bass music coming out of the Denver area right now is top-notch and extra dirty, contaminated by all that sunshine and clear mountain air. The mile-high (hold it in!) city is a thriving, gurgling part of the West Coast Future Sound Movement.

Originally DNB-heavy, the podcast now leans like purple towards dubstep and glitch hop (along with the rest of the world), although it also includes a variety of genres from booty house to breaks. The Temporal Fusion podcast regularly features some of my favorite artists and has free mixes for download from the Glitch Mob, Subvert, S.P.E.C.T.R.E, Jansten, Ale Fillman, Propa Tingz, the Gaslamp Killer and many, many more. Keep up the filthy work, Temporal Fusion!

And the rest of you, get on the mountain tip and crank that shit up.

ANALOG May 22: S.P.E.C.T.R.E, Andrew Luck, Dosadi, Grym & MC ANTON BOMB

The Produkt family along with Rockit Science hits us again with the best party of the month in Seattle: Analog, where the dance floor is full, the screams are loud, the alcohol flows like honey and the bass will facefuck your mind right out of your head. In a good way.

Friday May 22 brings Colorado boy S.P.E.C.T.R.E. to town; this guy is one of my very favorites out there right now. He has made my Top Ten list six times and I listen to his mixes fanatically. I have never heard him live,  but I sure as hell want to. Do it for me, Seattle- you’re so good at it.

Also on the lineup: Andrew Luck and Dosadi, two of the 206’s tightest members of the bass community, and Grym, who not only designed the flyer below but loves to dish out dirty beats as well. You can check out Grym’s latest mix here, a whompcast featuring Sonic MC.

MC Anton Bomb rounds out the performers, and will somebody please buy this man of epic energy a shot for me or pour some champagne on his head or something? ‘Cuz it’s his birthday and I won’t be around to get crazy on the dance floor with him.

Have fun out there Seattle!
