The Produkt family along with Rockit Science hits us again with the best party of the month in Seattle: Analog, where the dance floor is full, the screams are loud, the alcohol flows like honey and the bass will facefuck your mind right out of your head. In a good way.

Friday May 22 brings Colorado boy S.P.E.C.T.R.E. to town; this guy is one of my very favorites out there right now. He has made my Top Ten list six times and I listen to his mixes fanatically. I have never heard him live,  but I sure as hell want to. Do it for me, Seattle- you’re so good at it.

Also on the lineup: Andrew Luck and Dosadi, two of the 206’s tightest members of the bass community, and Grym, who not only designed the flyer below but loves to dish out dirty beats as well. You can check out Grym’s latest mix here, a whompcast featuring Sonic MC.

MC Anton Bomb rounds out the performers, and will somebody please buy this man of epic energy a shot for me or pour some champagne on his head or something? ‘Cuz it’s his birthday and I won’t be around to get crazy on the dance floor with him.

Have fun out there Seattle!

Photosynthesis Festival 2009

Last year’s Photosynthesis Festival 1.0 was one of the best parties of the summer in the Pacific Northwest, held on a mountaintop about two hours east of Seattle with three stages and some of the finest people you will ever come across. It was the weekend that I traded my soul to become eternally enslaved to techno, and you can read my sweet ass review here.

LiveNLove throws the dopest parties in the Seattle area, and whether you find yourself blissed out of your mind in an abandoned milk factory, deserted restaurant or under a city bridge, these renegade shows bring out top-notch crowds and the very best DJs and music-makers that the Seattle underground  community has to offer.

This year Kyle and crew is promising another spectacular outdoor event in August of this year and I may just have to get my ass back up to the Northwest for it. There is talk of a novaTRON lounge in the works and I must say I look forward to the day I will be hanging out with Ziggy and listening to dank wizard shit from the master.

Photosynthesis 2.0 is happening August 7-9 at Trout Lake Washington under Mount Adams will see the gathering of Ninja Tune, Sweatbox, From 0-1, Decibel, Innerflight, Sensory Effect, Epic Loot Guild, Transcendent Church of Bass, Buddhaful, and People of Earth to bring another epic celebration and collaboration of the international electronic community. GOD I LOVE MY FRIENDS!

Bring your tent, bring your volcano, bring your bacon and most importantly, be ready to get down and howl like feral children of the night all weekend long. Stay tuned on my blog for more information about lineups etc. or check back on PhotosynthesisFestival.com.

I have ONE photo from last year’s festival:
