HEY DJs & Producers: Want to Play Lightning in a Bottle? (BOOKING CONTEST)

Lightning in a Bottle is an incredible art & music festival taking place May 28-31 in SoCal celebrating the creative community and showcasing fresh combinations of humanity and technology. The thick lineup of dope ass talent can be found right here, and lately heaps of people have been hitting me up about how to join the lineup and play at LIB.

Well, here’s your chance, artists! And all you have to do is what you do best: make music!

Hot off the presses:

“To support and encourage emerging talent The Do LaB, in conjunction with The Confluence, want to invite all interested producers/dj/artists to create a mixtape/podcast for a chance to be added to the official Lightning in a Bottle 2010 lineup and official poster design.


  • ONE (1) Grand Producer: a one hour set and artist pass to Lightning in a Bottle 2010 (plus addition to final LIB Poster Design)
  • TWO (2) Runners Womp: a pair of tickets
  • FIVE (5) Honorable Mixtape (will be released as a digital download on the LIB website)

*All submissions must be contain only artists included on the LIB 2010 lineup
*All submissions must be between 45 and 60 minutes in length
*All submissions must contain name, contact info, website (if you have one) AND A DIRECT LINK TO DOWNLOAD (no attachments please)

Send all submissions to info@theconfluencegroup.com by Midnight PST on April 15. Winner to be announced with other unannounced late additions to the line-up.”

… Hmm who could it be?

  1. can da mix be my own music? im 2 poor 2 afford all the music from the artists, and i dont have internet to download the artists tunes..im on my wii.
